AD 2 ENKJ Kjeller

MIL aerodrome.
PPR call Airport Manager tel +47 90562416 or +47 63849000.
The flying clubs operates out of the NE corner of the airfield.
AD may be used during daylight only but not longer than 0800-2200LT. The gates are closed 2300-0700LT and access not possible.
Landing:
Approaches via published Reporting Points at 1500 feet, but not lower than 500 feet above ground.
Enter pattern at 1500 feet, standard left hand cicuit.
Straight in possible when no other conflicting trafic.
Normally use twy (B) Bravo when leaving the runway after landing.
Departure:
Rwy 30 prefered in no wind condition.
Normally use twy (A) Alpha when entering the runway for take-off.
Climb runway heading till 1500 feet, turn on course and continue climb to 2.000’ (helicopter 1.000’).
Use landing lights when flying in Kjeller area. WARNING some vintage airplanes based on Kjeller do not have lights.
Flying over built-up areas should be avoided as far as possible.
Keep a sharp look-out when using Sørum reporting point. Due to ENGM control area, both outgoing and incoming NE traffic has to pass this point. We recommend inbound traffic to descend to 1.500’ and outbound traffic to climb to 2.000’ well before reaching Sørum.
Winter operations:
Take-off and landings on black runway only. Airfield closed when runway is covered with snow. It is normally no snow removal from noon Friday till morning Monday. Check with Airport Manager if in doubt.
Landing Fee:
NOK 250,00 including parking first night, NOK 60 aditional nights.

AVGAS100LL and JA1, self service with Statoil Carnet Card.

Connections to/from Oslo:
Train from Lillestrøm railway station every 10-20 min workdays and 15-40 min weekends. 1,4 km walk to the railway station, turn right outside the gate and follow the street to the end.
